Use this page to "character reference" encode the email
addresses on your website to make it more difficult for spam bots to
harvest them. While the smarter Spam bots will decode any HTML
character reference encoding, the majority of the bots are not yet that
sophisticated and will pass by without seeing your email address. While
this should help to reduce the rate at which your Spam problem grows.
To use the encoded address
that this page generates, just paste the strange looking code directly in
to the source of your HTML page in the position where you want the e-mail
address to appear. If you would like a "mailto:" hyperlink to also
be encoded around your address, then be sure to select the "include mailto link" tick box
below.
